Ministry continues to happen here at Christ Cares Ministries as we continue to navigate though Covid as a community.
Christ Cares for Kids continues to be open every Monday and Wednesday morning from 8-11 a.m. each week, providing diapers, wipes and baby essentials to families in need. If we can help you, please come by and see us on Monday or Wednesday mornings. In addition, there is food bank every Wednesday morning at Christ Church-Lutheran at 3901 E. Indian School Road. Donations of diapers, wipes and baby essentials like body wash, shampoo, bottles, pacifiers, individually wrapped snacks, formula, infant cereals are greatly appreciated. You may also use our Amazon site found on this website to donate and ship directly. Thank you! So far this year, we have distributed over 70,000 diapers to hundreds of families and we couldn't do it with out support from individuals with hearts to help!
Mental Health First Aid classes are starting up again in Arizona and Texas schools as the beginning of a new school year approaches. We will begin offering community classes in the fall using CDC distancing guidelines as we are able. We were blessed with a grant from the Pacific Southwest District LWML to continue teaching these life saving classes in churches and schools in the southwestern US.
