On a physical level, we provide needy families with diapers, clothing, and other items for children ages NB-5 years. On a spiritual level, we pray with families, and we act as Jesus’ hands and feet. We also help link our families with services out in the community.

It is our desire to promote healthy families, to create relationships based on faith in Jesus Christ, and to share His love. We offer Compassion, Assistance, Respect, Empowerment, and Salvation!

“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”   Colossians 3:17 NKJV

We Need Your Support Today!

Mental Health

First Aid

Mental Health First Aid is a comprehensive, international, evidence-based practice training program that educated, equips and empowers those in attendance to know how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. It brings down the walls of stigma and interjects hope by teaching all of us about mental health, mental health problems, intervention steps and best practices as first responders.

Youth Mental Health First Aid gives adults the skills they need to reach out to and provide support to young people who may be developing a mental health problem. We know that half of all life time mental illness is present by age 14 and three-quarters by age 24. This class equips adults to intervene early by recognizing possible warning signs and encouraging appropriate professional help as well as how to respond to crisis situations in the most helpful ways possible.

Christ Cares Ministries began offering Youth Mental Health First Aid classes in the Spring of 2017 and added Adult Mental Health First Aid classes in 2018 and Higher Education MHFA in 2019. By the Fall of 2019, around 1200 teachers, community members, parents, ministry staff and others will have been trained and equipped in these life-saving ways. God has moved us beyond our local boarders to five states, public school districts and many community partners with this life-saving, life-enriching class.

If you would like to attend a class or would like for us to come to your school, church, or organization to teach a class, please email instructor Kay Siebert at kay.siebert@christcaresclinic.org.
